Christmas Celebration 2021

On 17th December 2021, Goodwill Christian College for Women celebrated their Christmas program on the theme "Celebrate the Reason of the Season". The program began with an opening prayer by Rev. Justin, Chairman, Civil Area, Karnataka Central Diocese and Vice –Chairman, Board of Management, Goodwill Christian College for Women, followed by bible reading.

The college choir rendered a Christmas medley. Dr. Sujatha Christopher, Principal, Goodwill Christian College for Women welcomed the gathering. img The chief guest for the blessed Christmas program was RT. Rev. Dr. P.K Samuel, Bishop, Karnataka Central Diocese and Chairman, Board of Management, Goodwill Christian College for Women.

His message encouraged each one of as the reason for the season and to emanate the radiance of Christ. The students performed mime, choreography and nativity followed by the staff giving a special number. The student and the staff performances elevated the show. The celebration ended with a fellowship lunch greeting each other a merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.

It is celebrated with great joy and grandeur wherein students and staff perform enthralling choreographies and stage dramas adding to the festive atmosphere.

Christmas Celebration by students 21-12-2021

Decorating a classroom is the perfect way to set the tone and create a memorable educational experience for students. With a little planning and creativity the entire classroom can be transformed without having to spend tons of money.

To keep up with the vibe of Christmas, each class was given the task of decorating their classrooms in the best possible creative way. The main aim was to instil in students a sense of team spirit, fellowship and bonding as they got together going around decorating their class rooms in varied ways beginning from the simple crib to the snowman, Christmas trees to angels, bells &stars ,glitter &lights ,Santa &sweets all in tune with the traditional colours of Christmas pine green, snow white, and heart red with a dash of gold and silver.

Each class was unique with decorations made from cotton , wool , paper cups, balloons etc. It also gave them an opportunity to showcase their talent as almost all the decorations were handmade from scratch without having to spend tons of moneythus unleashing the creative potential of the students.

The judges had quite a tough time in selecting the best decorated class but ultimately came up with selecting II year BA On the whole , it was a wonderful experience for the staff and students alike.
